Amanda McDade, Executive DirectorThe Northwest Regional Council Governing Board announced the appointment of Amanda McDade as Executive Director effective January 1, 2022.
McDade received a B.A in English from Western Washington University and a M.S. in Counseling, specializing in Gerontology from San Francisco State University. She has been serving Northwest Regional Council for the last 6 years as the Care Management Director. During this time, she has focused on creating new innovative programs to expand individualized services that promote health, well-being, and independence for vulnerable adults in our community. As Executive Director, McDade will oversee agency operations, provide leadership, foster partnerships, and lead advocacy efforts to improve the quality of life for seniors, people with disabilities, individuals seeking behavioral health care, their family members, and caregivers.
Upon accepting the Executive Director Position, McDade stated, “I am excited to accept this position. Northwest Regional Council is doing work unlike any other agency around. We have a wider menu of programs, highly knowledgeable and innovative staff, and are listening to the needs of the community. This is a time of growth and evolution. I look forward to leading efforts that remove barriers, enhance legislation, secure additional funding, and add new partnerships between healthcare and social services that will support increasingly complex needs and better serve our community”.
