Help out others in your community, become a paid caregiver!

A caregiver can fill an important role to help those in need of in-home assistance remain independent and in their own homes as long as possible. The types of care tasks that a caregiver is authorized to do and the number of hours to do them is determined by a care plan. A care plan is the result of a care assessment completed by a social worker or case manager working directly with the person who needs care.

A caregiver can work through a home care agency, adult family home, assisted living facility, or nursing home. Caregivers can be paid by the agency, facility, directly by an individual, or by Consumer Direct Care to provide services to those who qualify for in-home care.

Flexible schedules and health insurance are just some of the many benefits of becoming a paid caregiver.
